When asked to make a wedding quilt, I was excited, but I didn’t think I’d like the colors chosen. Wow! Was I wrong!?! I love this quilt!!

Another quilt for cancer

I would like to make another quilt for cancer, preferably one made with others. If you are interested in donating a block, please let me know! OK, this is how I envision it working. We can do this for 12 months if all are willing; if now, we can do it for a shorter period of time. I am willing to put each quilt together, but I think it would be nice if each person took a month and chose a theme. We can either use our own stashes or the person whose month it is can send out fabrics. I am good with it either way. If you would like to chime in, please do so! Thanks, Nancy

Ordered some more Joel Dewberry fabrics!!

I couldn't help myself, I ordered some more Joel Dewberry fabrics for another quilt!! I want to keep this one for myself. I love that greyish/yellow and black combination. It is unusual, because it is soothing and contemporary at the same time. I might actually cover a sofa in that if I can get some on sale. Going to work on a modern quilt tonight - I have to finish up Christmas presents, but I am itching to use my new Kate Spain Terrain fabrics, along with some Kona grey I just bought. I have a million ideas in my head, trying to get it down to a few. Yikes!! I am going to post a Giveaway of some fabrics this week. If anyone is out there, stay tuned!!
