Almost done with my mother's quilt!

She wanted stars, so I made 18 sawtooth stars, and then set them with blocks in between. I was originally going to make 36 stars, but I ran out of time and energy. Here is one of the stars - I made them modern with some awesome modern fabrics bought at KC Framing and Fabrics in Saratoga Springs. The women there have great taste in fabrics and it has become my go-to place for fresh, fun fabrics! They also have a Frequent Buyers Program: once you spend $200, you get a $20 gift certificate! I love that, and it is surprisingly easy (gulp!) for fabric addicts such as myself to spend $200.
