I have wanted a blue and white quilt for a while, so I started one today. I think I am going to do a sampler. This is the first block, the ribbon star, from www.freshlemonquilts.com. I tried it breaking up the star, and then with the shades matching, and asked my husband for his help. He did not understand what I was asking, so I took pictures, and decided that way.
Finally, I decided, and here is my first block. I was tired, it is VERY sloppy, so I am going to redo it tomorrow night. It is shamefully bad. :) Peace.
