And our semi-famous ice cream cake!!

Ingredients for smaller cake:

Pie dish
3 cups crushed corn flakes
One stick melted butter
One cup brown sugar
One container vanilla ice cream
Optional:
One cup coconut (I never use this)

Mix the three cups corn flakes after you crush them with the melted butter and brown sugar. Soften a container of the store brand ice cream - for some reason, this cake tastes better with the cheaper ice cream! Put 2/3 of the corn flake mixture on the bottom and sides of the pie dish. Put softened ice cream and cover with the remaining 1/3 of the corn flake mixture. Cover and freeze overnight, and serve with chocolate syrup.

Often, I double the recipe and I make it in a 9 by 12 inch pan. I use vanilla ice cream on one half, and the chocolate on the other side. Yummy!!!

Enjoy your Turkey Day!
